1. What is Selection Poker?

Selection Poker is a data-driven MTT tournament selection platform built for professional poker players. It ranks tournaments by real profitability and hourly rate, helping you choose the most profitable MTTs to play.

2. How is it different from other poker tracking softwares?

We don’t focus on hand histories, chip EV, or individual gameplay decisions. We focus on tournament selection and real profitability, while also giving you the tools to analyze your actual results.

You see your real winnings in USD across all networks where you play online MTT poker, along with real ROI, profit, hourly rate, and complete performance data.

You can also compare your results with expected values based on what other winning poker professionals (Regs) have achieved in the same tournaments. This gives you a clear benchmark to evaluate your true performance.

3. Where does the data come from?

Expected ROI, Expected Profit, and Hourly Rate are calculated using real SharkScope results from thousands of winning professional players.

Data is segmented by:

  • poker network (Pokerstars, GGpoker, WPN, iPoker etc.)

  • tournament type (PKO, Mystery, Freezeout, Re-entry, etc.)

  • field size

  • buy-in level

  • table format

We only use recent data to reflect today’s MTT environment.

4. Is the ROI realistic?

Yes. Our models are based on actual results from winning professional players over the last two years. We do not use theoretical simulations or outdated data.

The data is built from a curated pool of winning regulars who meet specific performance requirements to be included in our database. This means our figures reflect the average winning professional - not outliers or extreme best-case performers.

All numbers represent realistic expectations, not optimistic projections. Depending on your individual edge, you may achieve even higher ROI than the modeled averages.

5. Does Selection Poker track my personal results??

Yes. You can collect and track all your MTT results in real time, including tournaments played on untracked networks or MTTs that are not yet included in our database.

Over time, you build your own personal results database, including ROI, profit, hourly rate, average buy-in, hours played, number of final tables, ITM%, bankroll movement, and other key performance metrics.
